Updated: 24-05-2013

ITM are delighted to announce the outcome of our recent search for new board directors.
This year, after open nominations and a panel interview process led by ITM Chairman, Nicola Lomas, CEO Simone Buckley and Incoming Chair, Sarah Makings, a total of three new board directors have been appointed.

The three successful applicants to join the board are:

Carol Neil - Nomura International Plc
Carol is Head of Corporate Travel, EMEA for Nomura International plc., Asia's Global Investment Bank. She is responsible for the delivery and development of all travel services to Nomura Group companies in EMEA and the management of all related personnel, vendors, technology and expenditure.
Globally Carol manages Nomura's relationship with major inter-continental airlines, hotel groups, and the Firm's global Travel Agency. Furthermore, Carol also plays a key role in ensuring all regions work co-operatively in line with a co-ordinated strategy.
Carol has worked in the travel industry for 13 years. She was the EMEA Travel Manager at UBS before moving to Lehman Brothers as Category Manager, where travel was one of her many areas of responsibility. Prior to assuming her current role she was Head of Non IT Sourcing for Nomura.
Carol brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise not only in travel but also in sourcing and procurement across a wide range of corporate services. She has a masters degree in facilities management and is CIPS qualified.

Will Hasler - PwC
Will has been in the travel industry for more than 25 years; he has performed a variety of roles for airlines and GDS before joining PwC as their HRG outsourced UK travel manager in 2004. Together with Mark Avery, he has created what many believe is a class leading UK travel management programme. Will joined the ITM Industry Affairs Group last year and is often sought by the press and industry bodies for his views in writing, and at travel events, on a variety of travel matters.

Victoria Anderson - Pfizer
Vicky is a Global Category Strategy Manager working for Pfizer Global Procurement. She joined Pfizer in 2008 as European Category Manager for meetings, and spent two years in this role. Vicky then took on sourcing responsibility for travel in EMEA and global hotel sourcing before moving into her global role for both the travel and meetings categories.
She started her career in sales, marketing and sourcing roles for Bass PLC within the leisure retail industry. After sourcing indirect products and services for the fashion retail industry, Vicky sourced compliance communications and direct mail in the financial services sector. In 2005, she joined Sanofi to manage their UK travel and meetings sourcing, moving to Pfizer 3 years later.
Vicky has a BSc (Hons) from the University of Manchester and is six sigma green belt qualified.

Speaking about the appointments, ITM Chairman Nicola Lomas stated, "We had such a high level and calibre of candidates applying. The interest in the role has clearly come from the success the association has seen to date and I think people really want to play a part in making ITM even more successful in the future. Simone and I are delighted to welcome the three successful candidates to the board as this just reinforces how bright the future is for this association."
