Updated: 10-01-2014

Recognition by the Association of Buyer achievements

The Institute of Travel and Meetings (ITM) has announced it is to present six prestigious awards to Buyers in 2014.

The awards will recognise procurement techniques and travel-specific category expertise along with demonstrated results of an effective travel or meetings management programme. These achievements will be recognised in six categories; Long Service, Young Travel Manager, UK Travel Manager, Multi-National Travel Manager, Strategic Meetings Management Programme and Travel Team of the Year.

The Awards will be judged by a panel of representatives from the ITM Board and will be presented on Tuesday 13th May 2014 during the black tie gala evening at the ITM Conference, Celtic Manor, Wales.

About the new awards Simone Buckley, ITM CEO added:
"ITM is the leading professional body for buyers of business travel and meetings in the UK and Ireland so it seems fitting that we would want to recognise the achievements of our Buyer members and of our industry as a whole"
